Kasiwukira's widow back in court for murder trial

Kasiwukira was knocked down by a speeding car as he jogged in Muyenga

Hearing of the murder case against Sarah Nabikolo, the widow of the slain city businessman Eria Ssebunya Bugembe alias Kasiwukira and her co-accused resumes today at the High Court in Kampala.

Nabikolo, 62, her young sister Sandra Nakungu, 36, and a police officer Ashraf Jaden, 40, are battling charges of murder before Justice Wilson Masalu Musene. The trio is accused of killing Kasiwukira.

On October 17, 2014 Kasiwukira was reportedly murdered at about 6:00am in Muyenga diplomatic Zone.

He was knocked down by a speeding car as he jogged in the neighborhood of Muyenga. Kasiwukira was a member of Kwagalana group.

So far, five witnesses, all police officers, have testified against the trio.
