KASESE - Unknown thugs broke into Kasese Municipality MP-elect Robert Centenary's home and gang raped his 16-year-old maid, before vandalizing his car Monday morning.

The maid had been left to take care of the home together with other workers as Centenary and his wife had gone out for an Easter break.

Muhindo John, one of the workers at the MP's home, told New Vision that the premises were locked but the thugs found their way inside through the window then forced the teenage house help to reveal the whereabouts of her boss, before gang-raping her.

She is currently admitted at Bishop Masereka medical center in critical condition.

"They locked us in our rooms and we could not move out to rescue our colleague but we managed to peep through the windows and we saw that they were four men," said Muhindo of the attackers, two of whom were wielding knives.
