Isingiro police arrests six for alleged cattle theft

Police says the suspects are believed to be part of a group of cattle thieves terrorizing the Mbarara - Masaka cattle corridor.

Isingiro - Police in Isingiro district are holding 6 people for alleged cattle theft.

The suspects were arrested from Biharwe in Mbarara and Masha in Isingiro districts last night.

They have been identified as Yusuf Mugamba and Frank Akandwanaho of Biharwe in Mbarara. Others are Isaac Mukunta, Abdul Twinomugisha, Steven Guma and Joseph Barigye all of Masha in Isingiro district.

The OC Kaberebere police station, Charles Mkirinawe, says the suspects are believed to be part of a group of cattle thieves terrorizing the Mbarara - Masaka cattle corridor.
