The ministry of Internal Affairs today trained police officers, civil servants and operators of internet cafes in online skills of tracking child trafficking and other child related offences.

The training was conducted at Hotel Delambience in Koboko district.

The Police public Relations officer North Western region, Josephine Angucia says the training stems from increasing cases of online child sexual abuse and child trafficking.

She says there are indications that many Ugandan children are consuming offensive images on the net.
