Forum for Democratic Change is ready to negotiate with the government to forge a way forward for the country as long as it's ready to fulfill the conditions they have set.

Party vice president Regan Okumu said that ever since the presidential results were announced last month, they have been speaking with different people including government officials who have urged them to hold dialogue.

Okumu said they want the discussions to be a real dialogue and consultations like in 2011 and it should involve other stakeholders apart from FDC officials with the agenda set on helping move the country forward and not power sharing.

"I want to make it one thing clear, we are not talking about sharing government. If you think we are going to talk about the Kenya scenario or the Zimbabwe scenario, we are not. As FDC we can only talk about a transition" Okumu said.
