SC Villa qualified for the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Jeshi La Kujenga Uchumi (JKU SC) 1-0 in Zanzibar on Friday in the return leg of the first round.

Ambrose Kirya scored  for SC Villa  to make it 5-0 on aggregate.

JKU who finished second in the Zanzibar Premier League last season, did not take part in the preliminary round of the Confederation Cup after CAF gave them a walkover against Gaborone of Botswana.

If Villa wins the two legs, they will play either UMS de Loum from Cameroon or Fath Union Sport of Morocco in the second round.
