Betway Kobs remained on course to winning this year's Nile Special Rugby League after a hard-fought 26-15 win over the Sadolin Mongers in Entebbe on Saturday.

Kobs remain on top of the league table with Hima Cement Heathens hot on their heels in second.

The biggest win on the day came from reigning champions Heathens who demolished the Rams 66-3 with a Phillip Wokorach-inspired performance that saw him score two tries and 8 conversions.

Allan Otim and Asuman Mugerwa registered 2 tries apiece with Eddie Kayima, Joseph Oyet, Kenneth Okong and Alex Mubiru adding a try each for the six-time champions.

Emma Kabuye scored the only consolation penalty for the Rams.

Ezee Money Rhinos also made easy work of Gulu Elephants with Andrew Luyima, Emma Ochaya and Richard Aciko scoring two tries each while Herman Sekamwa and Byron Atubikire managing one each for the Rhinos who also had Kevin Makmot kicking in 5 conversions.

Jonathan Kiryowa (penalty) managed to get on the score sheet for Gulu who are yet to win a game.

The Toyota Buffaloes inflicted further pain on the XFM Impis with a 36-3 win despite the latter having a walk over them in their reverse fixture last week.

Buzz Pirates who were coming off a 3-0 loss to the Rhinos were dealt a further blow by the Mutoni Warriors who beat them 15-10 at the Legends ground.
