Kassami body arrives today, requiem mass for Sunday

The deceased passed away in Nairobi hospital on Friday morning where he has been undergoing treatment.
A requiem mass in honour of Chris Kassami, the Former Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance will be held Sunday at Bugonga Catholic Church, in Entebbe at 4pm, according to Ishta Nandi Kutesa the acting head media relations, Bank of Uganda (BoU).
Kutesa said the cortege will arrive today from Nairobi at 7:00pm and it shall be taken to a funeral home.
At the time of his death, Kassami was one of the members of the BoU Board of Directors.

To many, he was a mentor, hardworking and a good administrator.
Another requiem mass will be held on Monday next week at Rubaga Cathedral and at Virika Cathedral, Fort Portal on Tuesday.
Kassami will be buried on Tuesday at his ancestral home in Fort Portal district.
