Soana returned  to action  in  the  Azam  Uganda Premier League  with  1-0  win to  JMC Hippos  at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

Earlier they had been thrashed 4-0 by Saints in their last league game.

The  Soana win was a revenge against  JMC Hippos after former beat them 4-0  in the  first round  in Jinija. Simon Okwi   scored  the  only  goal  for  the Kavumba based  side in the  opening  minutes  of the  game.

Elsewhere, Sadolin  Paints   played  to goalless draw  with  Simba  at Bugembe  stadium  in  Jinija.

At Lugazi, URA thrashed bottom side  3-0 at Metha  stadium. Robert Ssentongo, Nicholas Kagaba  and Ronald Kigongo were on target  for URA.

Ssentongo extended  his  lead  in  the scoring  chart  with 12  goals.
