Woman kills husband over returning home late

Police in Ibanda is hunting for a woman who allegedly killed her husband accusing him of coming home late. 

Jenifer Ashaba of Nyamirima, Nyabuhikye Sub County in Ibanda district is alleged to have hit her husband Didas Arinaitwe with a rock on the head killing him instantly before she went into hiding.

Grace Pande the OC CID Ibanda Police said Arinaitwe's body was found in a pool of blood by neighbours on Monday morning in the couple's bedroom.

The rock suspected to be the murder weapon was found besides the body. 

Ninsiima Kakuba the Nyabuhikye sub county chairperson said the couple had for long been having domestic wrangles before the LC courts.

Ashaba often accused her husband of spending most of his time in Igorora Town Centre also in Ibanda district with other women.
