Uganda Cup round of 16 draw for Wednesday

KCCA, Lweza, Busia Fisheries, Bright Stars and Kamuli Park are among clubs set for Uganda Cup round of 16 draws at FUFA House on Wednesday.

KCCA FC ejected Sadolin Paints FC in the round of 32 with a single goal -thanks to teenage striker Derrick Nsibambi at Bugembe Stadium.

FUFA Competitions Committee awaits referee's match report for the round of 32 between CRO and Kira Young FC after Kira Young failed to travel for the match.

FUFA Competitions Committee also awaits referee's report for Airtel Kitara versus Express FC after the match aborted at goalless.

Another round of 32 fixture game between Bukeda TC FC and Vipers SC has been scheduled for Wednesday.

Notably missing in the round of 16 will be Vision Group which exhibited a lot of potential in their debut in Uganda's second biggest football competition.

Busia Fisheries' Nelson Dwani scored the only goal of the game that saw off Vision Group FC in Busia. New Vision was the only non-league side still left in the competition played on a knock out basis.

Other teams expected in the draws are BUL, Entebbe, Soana, Ndejje University, Maroons, Hope Doves and Iganga Young FC.
