Boxers Lusambya and Ssempewo travel to Azerbaijan

Former Africa Boxing Union champion (ABU) Badru Lusambya and Hamza Ssempewo are set to travel on Wednesday for a boxing contest in Azerbaijan on Saturday.

Lusambya will compete with Russian national Mamadov Fariz,a former olympian for the WBF international welter weight title and is confident of a positive result.

"I have seen the guy and honestly he is good but will disprove him because I have studied him," said Lusambya.

Lusambya is yet to win an international bout since 2010 and according to Eddie Bazira,the managing director Baltic Pro Box promotions, Lusambya has always been looking for a comeback and this fight comes at the time when the boxer has picked form.
