A source in FUFA says that as investigations go on, they have also informed FIFA.

FUFA has informed global soccer governing body FIFA and Horizon Football Club about the saga involving transfer of Joseph Mpande.

FUFA has suspended Vipers SC chairman Taddeus Kitandwe, secretary Harunah Kyobe and the federation's ITMS manager Richard Nandigobe on suspicion that they illegally sanctioned the player's transfer to Horizon FC of South Asian country team Myanmar.

FUFA ITMS manager Nandigobe was punished for recklessness after he endorsed the transaction without authority from Vipers SC chief executive officer.

A highly-placed source in FUFA said that as they investigate the complaint raised by Vipers SC officials, they have also informed FIFA.

Mpande can be seen on the current Horizon FC squad together with another Ugandan Isa Lumu formerly with Express FC. Lumu also went AWOL in October.

Highly-placed sources in FUFA said that the officials were given away by Vipers SC director Lawrence Mulindwa, who officially complained to the federation about the disappearance of Mpande.
