Sensitise voters, CCEDU tells EC

Citizen Coalition for Electoral Democracy Uganda wants the Electoral commission to sensitise  voters on how the new system of voter verification shall be applied during the forth coming elections.

The EC procured a Biometric Voter Verification system to minimise multiple voting.

The National Coordinator of CCEDU, Crispy Kaheru says most Ugandans are not aware of the new technology which may scare them away from participating in the elections .
