Pope Francis arrived in Kenya yesterday for the first leg of a landmark trip to Africa.Here is his schedule today.

Pope Francis arrived in Kenya yesterday for the first leg of a landmark trip to Africa.
The 78-year-old pontiff, is the third pope to visit the continent. He will tomorrow visit Uganda and then travel to the troubled Central African Republic (CAR).
He is expected to use the PopeMobile, a customised Isuzu pick-up first used during his trip to the Philippines early this year.

Here is his schedule today
Thursday
8:15 a.m. local time -- Meeting with interreligious and ecumenical representatives at the Apostolic Nunciature in Nairobi, Kenya, followed by a speech from the pope.
10 a.m. local time -- Mass on the campus of the University of Nairobi in Kenya, after which the pope will deliver a homily.
3:45 p.m. local time -- Meeting with priests, seminarians and religious leaders on the sports field of St Mary's School in Nairobi, Kenya. A speech by pope will follow.
5:30 p.m. local time -- Visit to the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya, followed by a speech from the pope.
