The Parliament of Uganda in August 2015 passed the Constitutional Amendment Act, 2015. The Act came as response by government to a concerted incessant campaign by various civil society organizations, political parties and activists for key electoral reforms aimed at enhancing the country’s constitutional order. A considerable number of proposals for reform were submitted by different actors. Kituo cha Katiba made comprehensive proposals on various long standing matters touching the entire constitution.
