Rugby Cranes v Rwenzori

Saturday May 24, Nakuru

Kifaru v Rwenzori (2.00pm)

Ndovu v Chui (4.00pm)

AS the Rugby Cranes technical bench is well aware of the importance of their Confederation of Africa (CAR) Tier 1B fixtures are, they share the same concerns with the Hima Cement Rwenzori Franchise that is in the 2014 Bamburi Rugby Super Series tour¬nament.

With those common concerns both sides will face- off this afternoon in a trial game that is meant to prepare each side against their next competitions.

The Rugby Cranes that whipped Victoria Franchise 51-12 last Saturday will test Hima Cement Rwenzori that is fine tuning its self ahead of a must win fixture against Kifaru in Nakuru next Saturday.

The loss will see Rwenzori join their sister Victoria that crashed out of the tournament last Saturday after 40-6 defeat by defending champions Ndovu in Kakamega.

Rwenzori coach Allan Musoke told New Vision Sport that he is well aware of the task ahead of him but his charges must have the heart to represent their country.

“We are training well and our practice match against the national team is to emphasise on improving on our defense,” Musoke stated.
