AS Vipers strive to regain the league lead, they will be praying their star striker Yunus Sentamu passes a fitness test ahead of today’s match against Entebbe.

Sentamu only resumed training on Wednesday after a bout of malaria and a nagging joint injury.

“I have fully recovered from malaria, but the joint is painful, though if it gets better, I will certainly play,” said Sentamu.

Vipers is currently tied with URA on 36 points though the tax collectors lead the race on superior goal difference.

Sentamu is however yet to fully replicate the kind of form that had him as one of the most sought after players at the Africa Nations Championship.

Elsewhere, the Soana versus Kira Young match brings back memories of the tough Big League battles these sides used to have two years ago.

At Kakindu, Simba will face a highly motivated Bidco encouraged by the return from injury of striker Daniel Oyirwoth.
