CRANES forward Emma Okwi continued to shine after his return to SC Villa, striking his second in three matches to maintain the Jogoos’ recent winning streak in the FUFA Super League at Nakivubo Stadium on Tuesday.

A swift Okwi coolly headed home on 53 minutes off a pin-point cross from Andrew Kaggwa from near the corner flag—sending Villa fans into jubilation which continued for the rest of the game.

Entebbe’s Nasser Muzamiru came close to breaking Villa fans’ hearts with a late equalizer but shot wide with Villa keeper Sulait Luyima beaten.

At Namboole, Muwada Mawejje and Dan Nsubuga scored in each half as SC Victoria humbled URA.

Muwadda was set up Simon Okwi to give Victoria the lead on 38 minutes before Nsubuga sealed in the 84 minutes when he beat an offside trap to shoot into an empty net.

At Kavuma, Masaka held Police to a 1-1 draw. Haruna Mulindwa struck for the Cops while Aloysius Lubega netted for Masaka.
