Muslims celebrate Eid Adha

Muslims have thronged Mosques for prayers to celebrate Eid Adha.

The prayers are followed by slaughtering of animals to commemorate God's gift of a ram to substitute for Abraham's son Isaac. The meat is distributed amongst family, friends and the poor.
