SOUTH Sudan marked four years of independence from Sudan on Thursday in a colourful ceremony in the capital Juba.
South Sudan became the world's newest nation in 2011 following a vote to secede from northern neighbor Sudan.
President Yoweri Museveni was one of the distinguished guests at the function and was accompanied by First Lady Janet Museveni.
