President Museveni''s reaction to the 2015/16 budget

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni in his speech at the 2015/16 Budget reading said the NRM had over the last 29 years laid a basis for the transformation of Uganda's economy and society from a third world country to a first world one in the coming years.

He said this has been achieved despite  obstacles like corruption, low levels of education, under-developed infrastructure and a narrow internal market occasioned by the colonial fragmentation of Africa.
