A few schools that had heeded the teachers’ union call to lay down their tools have resumed teaching in full gear.

The district education officer Kibaale John Kyaboona told New Vision on Wednesday that schools such as Kakumiro public, Rwenseera and a few others are back in full business after over a week of closure.

“I am reliably informed that all schools are now teaching unlike last week,” said Kyaboona.

Kyaboona said that all schools have been ordered to do remedial teaching to compensate for the lost time.

Agnes Abio the head teacher Kakumiro public primary school could not be reached for a comment by press time.
