Newly married but I have failed to have sex with my hubby

Dec 19, 2014

I am newly married, but before that, we agreed with my now husband to abstain from sex until marriage.

Help! I can’t have sex with my husband

I need some serious help because I feel my life is coming to an end. I am newly married, but before that, we agreed with my now husband to abstain from sex until marriage. We then got married, but it has been three months now and I still can’t have sex with my husband or anybody else for that matter. This is causing serious problems for us. My husband is a good, loving man, but I can see he is getting increasingly frustrated about the situation. What can I do?

To be honest, we don’t have a quick fix for this one, but we feel for you. Serious, urgent counseling is needed here. Whatever solution you reach will have to be done together with your husband. I will tell you, however, that sex is important, for both of you. Whatever the priests may say, marriage without sex just doesn’t happen. So, sort this out ASAP, for your own good and that of your marriage. Best of luck to you both.

Do I still have a chance with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I have not spoken for over a month because of a fight we had. I think I love him. Is there still a chance we will get back together?

If you are not even sure you love him, then what is the big deal? I don’t know what you fought about or how long you were together or what it is you want from life. But I can tell you that if this relationship was important enough, one of you would have been in touch by now. Otherwise... can you hear that? It’s the official bell telling you it’s over.

So, what do you have to say on these two relationship situations (dilemmas)?
