Ministry of Works and Transport

1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of printing and binding services of the Ministerial Budget Policy Statement for the Financial Year 2013-14.

2. The Ministry of Works and Transport invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of printing and binding services of the Ministerial Budget Policy Statement for the Financial Year 2013-14.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Works and Transport and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 7(a) from 8:30am to 4:30pm on working days during working hours.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below in No. 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000= The method of payment will be by using a Bank payment advise Form (BPA Form) obtained from Ministry of Works and Transport Cash Office located at Plot 4/6 Airport Road, Entebbe. The document will be collected physically by the bidders. No liability will be accepted for loss. 

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No 7(c) at 11:00am at or before 6th May 2013. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 2,000,000= (Uganda Shillings two million only). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below in No. 7(d) at 11:30am on 6th May, 2013.
