Iganga Municipal Council has allocated funds to be used for the construction and renovation of classroom blocks.

1. Iganga Municipal Council has allocated funds to be used for the construction and renovation of classroom blocks.

2. Iganga Municipal Council therefore invites sealed bids from eligible bidders (Firms or individuals) to bid for:

i. Works

a) Renovation of Noor Islamic P/S Ref: Igan/773/wrks/12-13/00001

b) Construction of two classroom block at Igamba P/S Ref: Igan/773/wrks/12-13/00002

ii. Prequalification

a) Consultancy services on works Ref: Igan/773/srvs/12-13/00001 

b) Repair of vehicles and maintenance Ref: Igan/773/srvs/12-13/00002 

c) Supply of fuel and lubricants Ref: Igan/773/spls/12-13/00001 

d) Supply of road construction materials Ref: Igan/773/spls/12-13/00002

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, LGPPDA Regulations 2006, PPDA guidelines 2008 and is open to all bidders form Uganda.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Iganga District PDU and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 (a) from 08.00 a.m. – 05.00 p.m.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7 (b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ug. Shs. 30,000/= for each item applied for. The method of payment will be by bank, Centenary Bank Iganga branch A/C No. 481200009. The document will be delivered in person. No Liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be open in the presence of the bidders, representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7 (d) at 10.00 a.m. on 31/01/2013
