President Yoweri Museveni is set to meet NRM Parliamentary caucus today (Monday) to discuss the recently nullified anti-gay Act.
According to the caucus deputy chairperson, David Bahati, the meeting is taking place at State House Entebbe.
“The main agenda about today’s caucus meeting is the anti-homosexuality Act. The President will address us and thereafter we shall discuss this very important law,” said Bahati.
Bahati noted that he was ready to re-table the law in Parliament.
Early this month, the Constitutional Court nullified the anti-gay law on grounds that the process of its enactment was a nullity for the House lacked quorum.
