Bride & Groom expo ends today

Thousands turned up for the Bride & Groom Expo between Friday and yesterday at the UMA New Exhibition Hall in Lugogo. There is no shortage of activities to catch your fancy and many couples were spoilt for choice, given the horde of wedding service providers and experts available to help them plan their wedding. 

The spectacularly decorated stalls welcome you into a wedding service paradise, with caterers, confectioneries, tours & travel, car rentals, decorators, hotels, music and PA systems, bands, photo and video studios, bridal boutiques and salons, cosmetic and jewellery stores, interior designers and fashion designers at your beck and call. 

If you are planning a wedding, the Bride & Groom Expo really is the perfect avenue as you will get to plan your wedding in one day. If you haven’t made your way down there yet, today is your last chance to do so, as the expo ends today.  

Running alongside the main exhibition are the invaluable beauty and marriage workshops. Today, don’t miss out on expert advice about how to wear make-up and a chance at getting a free manicure and pedicure. 

Mama Tendo’s workshop will specifically target those intending to marry, with a great discussion on preparing for your new home and for children when the time comes. 

Plus, you cannot afford to miss out on the awesome give-aways this evening at the magnificent closing ceremony starting at 6:00pm. There will be a grand finale of all fashion shows plus performances from top artistes like Chris Evans, Sophie Nantongo, Haruna Mubiru and Maureen Nantume.
