UGANDA'S UK-based musicians Denis Mugagga and Dan Ssewagudde aka Ganda Boys performed at the Olympics Torch event Wednesday afternoon.  The Ganda boys hit the stage just after the torch arrived at Hendon where it was to rest for an hour's lunch break.

Diana Gould, 100, carried the Olympic flame to Middlesex University in Barnet on day 68 of the torch relay. During the break the mayor joined the audience for the Ganda for a grand show where people danced away in the sun to the joyous live music.

“it is an honor to contribute to this great event and represent my country with our tallend" Denis Mugagga said.

The oldest torchbearer to take part in the London 2012 relay, Mrs Gould met the Mayor of London Boris Johnson before she took the flame into the University for a Lunchtime Break.

Rupert Grint, best known for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, was due to carry the torch after refreshments
