Traffic is brought to a standstill after a plane makes an emergency landing in the middle of a road.

Traffic came to a standstill after a plane made an emergency landing in the middle of a road at Kiwawu along Mityana road on Friday.

Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, said the plane left Entebbe international airport en route to neighbouring South Sudan but could not proceed due to bad weather.

According to Enanga, the pilot decided to return to Entebbe but ran out of fuel hence the emergence landing. He said eight people on board were not hurt.

New Vision's Conan Businge and Luke Kagiri were at the scene and captured the moments.
