KAMPALA - The Law Council chairman, Justice John Wilson Tsekooko, has named the four members appointed to the lawyers’ regulatory body. These include the president of the Uganda Law Society, Bruce Kyerere and the dean of the faculty of Law, Makerere University, Ben Twinomugisha, John Mary Kiwuuwa and Eva Kawuma Luswata, who represent the Uganda Law Society.

Religious body gets sh60b

KAMPALA - The Inter-Religious Council of Uganda has received sh60b from the United States Agency for International Development to aid the HIV/AIDS prevention project. Addressing over 100 Catholic priests at Namirembe, the council secretary general, Joshua Kitakule, said the funds would run the project for the next three years.
