WITH all the lucrative activities taking place in western Uganda, there is a need for visual image advertisement. This is because when advertising is done on television, it appeals to different kinds of clients.

WITH all the lucrative activities taking place in western Uganda, there is a need for visual image advertisement. This is because when advertising is done on television, it appeals to different kinds of clients.

Given the development of the region with a number of radio stations, it is high time any of the economically potential businessmen implemented that.

The central region-based television station cover just a few areas of western Uganda which makes us miss educative, interactive and developmental shows.

A western region-based station should start from where the rest end. Again a lot of business like farming and other activities take place in western Uganda and Mbarara town is about to earn the status of a city.

The existing television stations in the country operate in unfamiliar languages to most of the people in the region and that is a communication barrier. If western Uganda can get a television, it will promote regional balance in all aspects of life like news and information for general development.
