Mom sold yellow bananas for fees

“I attribute my success to my mother, Margret Lunkuse, who sells yellow bananas in Nakawa Market. She has contributed so much to my victory,” said Juliet Namuleme.

The reserved Namuleme scored aggregate 12 in 9 subjects at Buddo Senior Secondary School.

“I worked and prayed tirelessly to achieve this success. I am so glad that God has answered my prayers,” said Namuleme.

Namuleme, who scored aggregate 7 in her PLE exams, wants to do sciences at Uganda Martyrs’ Namugongo and then pursue a career in medicine.

“Ben Kasoma, a neuro surgeon in South Africa, inspires me. I admire the commitment and devotion he puts in his work,” said Namuleme.

The third born in a family of five thanked her teachers for working hand in hand with her to achieve this victory.
