Just a couple of months after celebrating its first anniversary, 93 Kingdom FM, an affiliate radio station of Christianity Focus Centre, recently hosted its fans to a solidarity re-union.

The function, which took place at the Church in Mengo Kisenyi, attracted a massive crowd that braved both the early morning and evening rains.

Like any Christian fellowship function, merry-making, gospel musical performances and jovial interactions prevailed.

However, the major activity of the day was the crowning of the radio’s prince and princess. Godfrey Genza, the managing director of Kagodo Farmers and Zion Construction, emerged Kingdom radio prince. He won the prestigious honour after donating sh11m to the radio.

Sarah Gukiina, the proprietor of Gukiina Furniture, donated sh5.5m to the radio to become its princess. The radio fans also presented various prizes to Bishop David Livingstone Kiganda, the radio’s managing director, in appreciation for his efforts towards promoting electronic evangelism.

The fans also got the opportunity to meet the presenters, whom they also gave presents. Several Gospel music artistes who included Florence Rukundo, Julie Muteesaasira and Wasswa Kiyingi entertained revellers.
