EDITOR— I live near the wetlands between Bugolobi and Luzira Prisons. The mushrooming factories that have started heavy production along the edges of the wetlands leading to the lake are spewing toxic waste into Lake Victoria in the name of investment!

Several investors have been given land in the industrial park in the name of progress.
How shall we deal with contaminated water from the National Water and Sewerage Corporation? Who will pay for our treatment? Almost all my money is swallowed up by NSSF, ‘pay as you earn’ and other taxes I have lost count of!
