LAST weekend, another MTN Goal of Goals House winner moved into his house with a small party to mark the occasion. He was to only stay there for the weekend because he prefers to let out the house.

The interesting thing was the teenage affair the small party turned out to be.
The winner himself, Haruna Kassim, is a 24-year old salesman with Ariel Detergent. But he is an S.6 vacist from Kololo SS and so most of his friends are teenage former schoolmates.

Thus it turned out that his house-warming party featured mainly teenagers, all boisterous and dressed in funky wear.

MTN gives away a fully-furnished house, but of all items in the package, Kassim and friends most embraced the standard home theatre system.

They straight away blasted music from the machine as they danced amidst loud merry-making, putting on vibrant dance strokes typical of teenagers.

Kassim said he plans to let out the house and stay home with his parents as he has been doing, promising to share the money from his tenants with his family and friends.

He hopes to join university in August and says the money from the house will help him at school.

Haruna was the eighth of twelve house winners in the MTN promotion.
Gasper Mbowa the MTN Youth Segment manager, said he was more than pleased to see that at least there was a very youthful winner among the Goal of Goals winners.

The twelve houses are all located in the National Housing Estates in Namungoona.
