University interests are paramount

EDITOR—The High Court in Gulu on Friday ordered the freezing of five Gulu University bank accounts at Centenary and Stanbic banks. I read this news with anger! Freezing the university accounts means freezing the university operations.
EDITOR—The High Court in Gulu on Friday ordered the freezing of five Gulu University bank accounts at Centenary and Stanbic banks. I read this news with anger! Freezing the university accounts means freezing the university operations.
The lecturers’ claims are not as important as the university’s operations. My humble request to courts of law is to always consider the interests of a public institution above those of individuals.
There are some lecturers who were sponsored by the university and have absconded without paying back a coin. Were they fair to the young university? Why is that only those lecturers were dismissed?
