How do you manage to keep ‘portable’?
It’s genetic, I have a high rate of metabolism so my body burns down fat fast. Besides that, I do horse riding, swimming and work out three times a week.

Is your weight among the qualities that attracted him?
I don’t think so. When you meet someone, it’s about what you have in common. The interests and principles you share and work around those that you may not share.

How did you meet?
We were taking a class in swing dancing a couple of years ago. We were friends first, then we learnt more about each other and the rest, as they say, is history. It had to be a cautious friendship because I was coming out of a relationship and was not ready to get into another.

What made you say yes?
He made me laugh. He is also principled and knows what he wants in life and how to get it. He sticks to the principles he was brought up to believe in, which is uncommon these days.

What is your greatest fear in relationships?
To find a person who perfectly compliments you is hard. My greatest fear is to think you have got the right person only to find they do not complement you.

Do you believe all men are the same?
Absolutely not. Men are as different from each other as butter and cheese. The up-bringing in different families makes them totally different. Not all men treat women like rubbish. They do have general similarities though; they love to be respected, encouraged and loved.

What do you like most about presenting on radio?
It is a privilege. We bring up topics and seek opinions from listeners and we learn from them.

What would you be doing if you were not on radio?
Tough question! I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. I probably would be in marketing or events. I would need something that allows me to meet and talk to people everyday.
