EDITOR: On Thursday at 1:00pm, my colleagues and I were shocked by what we saw! A taxi, registration UAG 764J, was crammed with pupils of Gangu Parents Primary School.

The children were packed like sardines and dripping with sweat because the taxi was parked in the blazing sun. This was on First Street near Club Silk. There were about 30 pupils in a van meant to carry 14 passengers!

In the back seat alone there were 11 kids! We forced the driver to open for them so they could get some fresh air.
The children told us they had come for a tour but had been denied entry to the place they were supposed to visit.

Clearly, this was a money-making spree by the school which had not made any arrangements for the 'tour'. This exploitation of parents and children by schools must stop.
