Gabriella confides in Eva that if she could find Libia, she would help her and the unborn child. She doesn’t know that Libia is dead. When Franco goes to the bar to see Rosario, he is refused entrance. Armando warns him to stay away from Rosario. When he refuses, together with his thug friends; they beat up Franco and leave him for dead.

In Spain, Gregorio’s operation doesn’t go as planned and he goes into a coma. Fernanda is worried that he will die before he tells her where Pablo is. She approaches his bodyguard, Ramirez, and makes him an offer; to give up Pablo and she will give him more money than he can imagine when Gregorio dies or she will destroy him. Fernanda attempts to kill Gregorio by turning off his oxygen supply in hospital, but the nurse interrupts her. Mala tells Ignacio that Soledad is pregnant, so that he can forget about her (Soledad) and be with her. With Fernanda out of the country, Berenice files for and wins custody of Soledad.
India – a love story
Raul apologises to Sylvia for hurting her, but says he is leaving her. Maya is still distraught over Bahuan’s betrayal. She runs into Bahuan’s father and he tells her to move on and forget Bahuan because their love was doomed from the start. Maya tells her friends that she would marry Raj and be happy. Cadore finds out that Ramiro hired the thug who shot Raul. Ramiro defends himself, saying Raul has been trying to destroy him. Ironically, Raul has had a change of heart and has agreed to pay the money he was hiding. Ramiro feels guilty, but explains to his father that he never meant to hurt his brother.
