CEDRIC Sinarinzi of the Falcons inspired the six time champions to survive a fifth loss this season when he executed a brilliant performance against the Nkumba Marines on Saturday evening at YMCA.

Falcons led the first three quarters of the low scoring game taking the first11-9 and continuously dominated the game 10-8, 13-11 but lost the last quarter 12-16.

Despite the aggressiveness and urgency to win, the Falcons failed to run away from the Marines as the latter kept them in check.

“We played great defence in this game though we made some blunders on offence but the main issue was to win the game and all we have to do now in the remaining two fixtures (Miracle and KIU) is to win,” said a confident Falcons Coach Michael Mureithi.

The Nkumba Marines who have nothing to fight for as they are out of play-off contention displayed a great performance although they lost.
