herself. When she returned Yusuf’s mosquito net was on fire. She poured on him water, removed his clothes and rushed him to a clinic. However, he had already sustained burns. They were referred to hospital because he had severe burns.

Sarah Namata’s son, Henry, missed a step as he played on the verandah and fell on a charcoal stove. A saucepan of boiling beans poured on him, causing severe burns. He was taken to a clinic where his clothes were removed and cold water poured on him. He was given a painkiller and referred to Mulago Hospital.

Faith was sleeping when she suddenly fell in a frying pan of hot cooking oil on the floor. Her mother removed her clothes and poured cold water on her. She smeared Faith’s body with oil and rushed her to a nearby clinic. Faith was given a painkiller and her mother advised to take her daughter to Mulago hospital.
