KAMPALA — more than 300 people from various companies and institutes in the city were trained in fire safety and prevention last year, in a bid to reduce fire out-breaks and loss of property to fires. The chief fire officer, Joseph Mugisa, recently said, “308 industrial as well as institutional workers were trained in basic aspects of fire prevention and fire suppression.”
