HOIMA — Samia Bugwe South MP Simon Mayende recently excited town residents when he bought a Hero bicycle and rode it for four miles to Mpaija village, his home area. He bought it from an Indian trader and rode it within town to test it.

KABALE — The Sector Internal Security Officer (SISO), Lt. Joseph Kabaleega, has been transferred to the office of the state minister for security Muruuli Mukasa’s office in Kampala. The transfer took effect at the end of December 2002.
