John Kawanga, the Masaka Municipality MP, has criticised politicians who dissuade investment in the district.
He said Masaka offered several areas of investment, but all had been reallocated elsewhere, because of the unconducive environment created by some “confused†leaders.
Kawanga was on Wednesday addressing Municipal councilors during a budget conference.
He gave an example of the Coca-Cola plant that had been scheduled to be built in Masaka town, but was re-allocated to Mbarara due to misunderstandings among the district leaders.
