Court Allows Landlord To Auction Concorp Equipment
THE High Court has allowed a Kampala landlord to auction all movable assets, including heavy vehicles belonging to Concorp International Limited, a Sudanese construction company.

THE High Court has allowed a Kampala landlord to auction all movable assets, including heavy vehicles belonging to Concorp International Limited, a Sudanese construction company. This is in a bid to recover over sh90m.
Concorp International had earlier failed to defend a suit by Nizirali Sayani, the landlord of Plot 4 Kimathi Avenue in Kampala.
On Monday Concorp had requested the court to stop Sayani from attaching its property for sale, on the grounds that it had appealed to the Court of Appeal. But, Justice Gideon Tinyinondi, rejected the request, saying the application had no merit. He also agreed with Sayani’s pleader, John Kiwuuwa that no receiver had been mentioned.
