SIR— I have followed with keen interest Mbarara Municipality MP Winnie Byanyima’s words and what people say about her concerning Uganda training the Interahamwe to topple our neighbouring Rwandan government.

I actually can’t believe Winnie should be at it again, given the implications it has on our government as far as security is concerned. Given the times we have gone through with
Rwanda and hopefully the wound is healing as they tell us, this really shouldn’t be necessary.
I support neither side but people of brains should know there is something wrong. It’s high time our government realised that nothing at this point can be done in the dark which will not be known. Not only does our government have to keep its image clean, but it must make sure it does the right thing.
