ENTEBBE - The ice on Africa’s highest mountains are fast melting due to increases in temperatures, leading climate scientists have said.

The experts said at the Greater Horn of Africa Climate Outlook Forum that huge ice glaciers on top of the Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Kenya and Mt. Rwenzori were dwindling. The Nairobi-based Climate Monitoring Centre has begun studying the extent of climatic change in the region.
