Ntakke bid
KAMPALA – Ntakke Bakeries, a Najjanankumbi-based firm, will open a large-scale wheat flour mill in the Nalukolongo Industrial Area Kampala in June. The six storeybuilding is nearly finished, ahead of the June commissioning. A site manager said over the weekend, wheat would be bought from different sources. Ntakke has a mill in Najjanankumbi.

New depot
KAMPALA – Used car dealers in Uganda now have more options on where to keep newly imported vehicles before tax clearances. A new Internal Car Depot (ICD) has opened up in Bugolobi, a Kampala suburb. Tiga Investments Limited, is located on Fifth Street Insudtrial Area Kampala. Over 30 cars are already at the yard since its inception.

UNBS says
KAMPALA – The inspection scheme which started early this month, is smoothly going, the Uganda Bureau of Standards (UNBS) said in a statement on Monday. The statement, signed by the UNBS public relations officer, Moses Ssebunya, said there were no delays, nor inconveniences caused to the public so far. He said this was due to earlier preparations.
