KAMPALA — Defence state minister Ruth Nakabirwa has criticised Gulu Municipality MP Nobert Mao’s recent attack on Vice-president Speciosa Kazibwe. Nankabirwa, while presiding over a donation of used clothes and shoes to war-affected people in Kitgum, Pader and Gulu districts by the Movement Voice at the weekend, wondered how an aspiring president could be engaged in a quarrel.

ARUA — The West Nile Women’s Association (WENWA) on Friday elected Mary Guma of Adjumani as its regional Interim chairperson. This was during the regional meeting chaired by Rita Obaru of Lugbara Literature Association, at the WENWA offices. Arua’s Joyce Adrili was elected vice-chairperson with Anne Auru of Moyo as secretary assisted by Rose Obiga of Arua. Nebbi’s Anyalitho is treasurer while Perry Vuni of Yumbe is publicity boss.Ends
